A partnership towards a better future for children
Journalfy™ is honoured to announce that we have partnered with the international non-profit organisation, Pencils of Promise, to collectively work together around a common goal that all children should have the opportunity to receive a quality education.
In impoverished regions, education standards for children often lag due to insufficient access to proper education and basic necessities such as school supplies, sanitation facilities, running water, and sometimes, even schools.
While we're just beginning our journey with Pencils of Promise, we're inspired by the remarkable impact they've already made. They've built over 606 schools, complete with classrooms, bathrooms, handwashing stations, teachers' offices, and other essential structures,positively impacting 280,000 children and 880,000 community members.
In an effort to help improve education standards and enhancing the quality of life for these underserved children, with every 5 journals sold, Journalfy will be donating 2 water filters so that children can have access to clean and safe water while at school.
Here are just a few ways that Pencils of Promise are helping underprivileged school children:
- Providing safe and clean infrastructures that are conducive to improved sanitation and hygiene
- Building safe and enjoyable schools
- Providing training to teachers
- Providing water filters for clean drinking water
